Habilitation Prize
In 2022, under exceptional circumstances, the German Association for the Study of English awarded its Habilitation Prize twice as an exception.
Dr. Joanna Rostek (Justus Liebig University Giessen) received the prize for her habilitation thesis on Women’s Economic Thought in the Romantic Age: Towards a Transdisciplinary Herstory of Economic Thought (published by Routledge 2021).
Dr. Valentin Werner (Otto-Friedrich University of Bamberg) received the prize for his cumulative habilitation thesis on Performed Language: Theory, Description, and Application.
The next Habilitation Prize will be awarded in 2025.
